          Probate Court District of Saybrook July 4th 1836 Present Obadiah Spencer Judge of said Court
          This Court appoints Jedediah post Esq. Administrator and Mrs. Sally Wright Administratrix of all and singular the Goods, Chattels, Credits and Estate of Samuel Wright late of Saybrook deceased. Gave Bonds according to law
          Six months from the date hereof are limited and allowed the Creditors to the Estate of Samuel Wright late of Saybrook deceased, in which to exhibit their claims properly --- to Jedediah Post Esq. and Mrs. Sally Wright Administrators thereon or be debarred

a recovery. And that all persons interested may have due notice said Administrators will cause this notice to be published in a newspaper printed in Middletown and post a copy on the sign post in said Saybrook nearest to where said deceased last dwelt.

          On motion of the Administrators on the Estate of Samuel Wright late of Saybrook deceased, this court appoints and fully empowers Messrs. Bela Clark, William Bull and Cornelius Chittenden, freeholders of said Saybrook, to be appraisers of said estate, and then are to make a true and just appraisement of all the estate of said deceased as shall be offered to them according to the true value thereof in money, and according to their best judgment being first sworn as the law directs.

On the Estate of Samuel Wright late of Saybrook deceased.
          Ordered, That the Administrators exhibit their administration account to this court for adjustment, at the probate office in Saybrook the second Monday in March 1837 at nine o'clock, forenoon, and that all persons interested in said Estate may be notified thereof, the Administrators will cause this order to be published in a newspaper printed in New Haven and post a copy thereof on the sign post nearest to where the said deceased last dwelt.

Return of Notice, Allowance to widow & family, Adm. Acct Settled, Order of Sales & order of Distribution
          The Administrators on the Estate of Samuel Wright late of Saybrook deceased made return that they had caused public notice to be given in relation of all orders of this Court requiring such not in relation to the settlement of the Estate of said deceased, and which, on due enquiry this Court finds to be true, and order said return to be kept on file.
          On Motion of the Administrators on the Estate of Samuel Wright late of Saybrook deceased this Court allows to the widow and family of said deceased the sum of one hundred dollars to be paid out of the personal estate of said deceased for their support during the settlement of said Estate.
          The Administrators on the Estate of Samuel Wright late of Saybrook deceased exhibited in court their Administration account, which on due examination is accepted and approved and ordered to be kept on file.
          The Administrators on the Estate of Samuel Wright late of Saybrook deceased are on their motion hereby authorized and empowered to sell so much of the personal estate of said deceased as will raise the sum of $377.69 the sum being necessary to pay debts and charges allowed against said Estate, and may be sold at private sale at inventory or at public auction after giving legal public notice of such sale, and then make return to this Court.
          On motion of the Administrators on the Estate of Samuel Wright late of Saybrook deceased this Court appoints as Distributors Mssrs. Bela Clark and Oramel B. Wright, freeholders to distribute the ---estate of said deceased to and for the widow and heirs thento according to law being first sworn as the law directs, and then cause return to be made to this court for acceptance and record.
