Petition to sell minors land (4 April 1826)
          Upon the petition of Ezra Wright of Say Brook in the District of Say Brook, showing to this Court that he is guardian to Edward Wright, and Henry Wright of said Say Brook, minors under the age of twenty and one, and further showing that said minors are the owners of three certain pieces of land lying in the 2nd Society of said Say Brook, in common with others, one piece containing twelve acres, more or less, Bounded North on highway, East and South, on Alanson Wright, and West on Samuel Wrights land And also, one other piece of land, containing rive and half acres, Bounded north on Ebenezer Clarks land, East on Samuel W Pratt, Southerly and Westerly on Alanson Wrights land, One other piece containing twenty acres, Bounded north on Samuel W. Pratt, Easterly on Alanson Wright, and Southerly and westerly on Joel Do-- land, And further showing that said lands are unproductive, and that it would be for the interest of said minors to have the same, sold, as the law permits, and praying for liberty to do the same, as per petition on file dated the 3rd day of April 1826.
          It is ordered by this Court that said Ezra Wright, give notice of said application, by causing the same to be published in some newspaper printed in New Haven, in the County of New Haven three weeks; successively, at least six weeks, before the first Monday in July 1826 when said petition, will be heard at the Probate office in Killingworth in said district, at 2 o;clock in the afternoon.

          Upon the petition of Ezra Wright of Say Brook in the County of Middlesex, showing to this court that he is guardian to Edward Wright & Henry Wright, both of said Say Brook minors, and further showing that said minors are owners with others of three certain tracts of land situated in the 2nd Society of said Say Brook. One piece containing twelve acres more or less, Bounded north on highway, East & South on Alanson Wrights land & west on Samuel Wrights land, Also one other piece of land containing five & half acres, Bounded north on Ebenezer Clarks land, East on Samuel W. Pratt, Southerly & Westerly on Alanson Wrights land. One other piece containing twenty acres, Bounded North on Samuel W. Pratts land, Easterly on Alanson Wright, & Southerly & westerly on Joel Do--- land, and further showing that said lands are unproductive, and that it would be for the interest of said minors to have the same sold, and the avails vested according to Law and praying for liberty to do the same, as per petition on file dated the 3rd day of April A.D. 1826.
          Said petition was brought to this Court, holden at Say Brook in and for the district of Say Brook on the 4th day of April A.D. 1826 & from them for the purpose of giving public notice of the pendency thereof comes to this Court by continuance, & now this Court finds that public notice hath been given of the pendency thereof, & that the facts stated in said petition are true, and doth grant the prayer thereof, and the said Ezra Wright, having given Bond as the law requires, is hereby authorized & empowered to sell said land according to Law & then make return of his doings to this Court.
