At a Court of Probate held at Hartford, 11 Oct 1748: Then the foregoing inventory was exhibited by Nathaniel STOW, Adms. Approved, ordered recorded and kept on file.

Page 77 -- 4 Oct 1748: An account of Adms. on the estate of Ebenezer STOW, late of Middletown, was now exhibited by Nathaniel STOW, Adms.: Paid in debts & charges, £365-15-00. Account allowed and ordered to be kept on file.

Page 85 -- 12 Jan 1748-9: Pursuant to an act of the General Assembly holden at New Haven on the 2nd Thursday of Oct, 1748, granting liberty to Nathaniel STOW, Adms. on the estate of Ebenezer STOW, late of Middletown decd. [some part here left out by the Recorder] as will procure the sum of £332-00-00 with incident charges of sale, sd. land to be sold at publick vandue, so much of a piece of land in Woodbury North Purchase so called, belonging to the estate, in the County of Fairfield, describing the bounds, as will procure the sum and charges arrising on sd. sale, to the highest bidder, etc.
