Court Record, Page 143 -- 1 Jun 1713: Per act of the General Assembly, this Court do order & direct George STOCKING & Daniel STOCKING of Middletown to sell so much of the lands of their brother John STOCKING of Middletown (an idiot) as may produce the sum of £40 to be improved for his comfortable subsistenance for the payment of just debts. And there are to sell such lands of the sd. John STOCKING as lie in the Township of Hartford.
