Court Record, Page 39 -- 2 Jun 1747: An inventory of the estate of William STANCLIFT, Jr., was now exhibited in Court by James STANCLIFT, Adms., which inventory is accepted, ordered recorded and kept on file. Estate supposed to be insolvent. Adms. prays that commissioners may be appointed to adjust the claims of the creditors. This Court appoint William ROCKWELL & John GILL, of Middletown, commissioners to adjust the claims of the creditors.
