          SAGE, Ebenezer, Middletown. Invt. £13,970-04-03. Taken 27 December 1748, by Jabez HAMLIN, Jonathan ALLYN and William ROCKWELL.

          Court Record, Page 82 -- 6 December 1748: This Court grants Adms. on the estate of Ebenezer SAGE, late of Middletown, unto Hannah SAGE, widow, who gave bonds with William ROCKWELL of £500.

          Page 2 (Vol XVI) 24 August 1750: Ebenezer SAGE, a minor, son of Ebenezer SAGE, chose his father-in-law, Michael BURNHAM, to be his guardian. Recog., £500.

          Page 16 -- 14 March 1750/1: Capt. Michael BURNHAM, in right of his wife Hannah, the Adms., exhibited an account of Adms. Accepted. Amount for distribution £19,882-13-05. This Court order a dist. of the estate, viz.:
                    To Hannah SAGE, alias BURNHAM, relict, £4146-18-06
                    To Comfort SAGE, eldest son, £6294-06-00
                    To Ebenezer, Martha & Hannah SAGE, to each £3137-03-00
          And appoint Jabez HAMLIN, Thomas GOODWIN, and Jonathan ALLIN distributors.

          Page 18 -- 21 March, 1750/1: Martha SAGE, a minor, 14 years of age, and Hannah SAGE, 12 years, children of Ebenezer SAGE, chose their uncle Jonathan BIGELOW of Hartford to be their guardian. Recog. £600.
