David SAGE, Jr., Middletown. Invt. £138-12-06. Taken 26 Feb 1712-13, by John WARNER & Samuel GIPSON. 250 acres of land on the east side of the Great Rive, valued at £100 was apprised by Peter BLINN, Samuel DYXX & Jonathan SMITH. The children: Mary & Elizabeth.

Page 188 -- 5 Apr 1714: John SAGE cited to appear & render an account of his Adms.

Page 192 -- 3 May 1714: John SAGE, who was appointed Adms., now appeared and declared before this Court that he hath not intermedled with that estate or acted thereon as Adms., but declined that trust; whereupon this Court doth grant letters of Adms. to Thomas STEDMAN of Wethersfield, son-in-law of sd. decd.

Page 250 -- 2 May 1715: Thomas STEDMAN, Adms., exhibits now an account of his Adms. Accepted. Ordered to dist. the estate: To Mary SAGE, widow, £9-00-02 and to the two daughters, Mary & Elizabeth, to each of them the sum of £50-09-02. And this Court appint William CORNWALL, Sergt. Samuel HALL & John GAINS, distributors.
