Court Record, Page 110 -- 4 Jan 1725-6: This Court grant Adms. unto Desire RUSSELL, widow of sd. decd. And the sd. Desire RUSSELL and Thomas COOPER of Middletown joyntly & severally recog. in £300.
Page 100 (Vol. XIII) -- 30 Sep 1741: Noadiah RUSSELL, 18 years of age, son of Noadiah RUSSELL, chose his uncle Rev. William RUSSELL to be his guardian. Recog., £200.
Page 102 -- 1 Dec 1741: An account of Adms. was exhibited in Court by Desire RUSSELL alias COOPER, relict of sd. decd. & Adms. on his estate, which account is accepted. Rev. William RUSSELL, guardian to Noadiah RUSSELL, moves this court for a dist. This Court order 1-3 of £65-14-18 to the widow, Desire RUSSELL, alias COOPER aforesd., & the other 2-3 parts thereof unto Noadiah RUSSELL, minor. And appoint Major Jabez HAMLIN, John RUSSELL & William ROCKWELL, distributors. Also this Court appoint the sd. dist. to set out the widow's dower of the real estate.
