Court Record, Page 136 -- 7 Aug 1750: This Court grants Adms. on the estate of John CROWELL, late of Middletown, unto Sarah CROWELL, widow, who gave bonds with surety as the law directs. This Court appoint Sarah CROWELL, widow, to be guardian to her children, viz., John CROWELL, age 9 years, Samuel 8 years, Daniel 6 years, Abigail 4, Seth 2 years, and Mary about 7 months old, children of John CROWELL.
