          Court Record, Page 12 -- 3 June, 1746: This Court grant Adms. on the estate of John CORNWELL, late of Middletwon, unto William ROCKWELL of Middletwon, who gave bonds with Daniel WARNER of Middletown of £500.

          Page 93 -- 29 March, 1748-9: William ROCKWELL, Adms. on the estate of John CORNWELL, late of Middletown,now exhibits an account of Adms.: Paid in debts and charges and spent in the family, £139-16-02. Which account is allowed. Now moves for a distribution, as follows: To Mary CORNWELL, widow, to John CORNWELL, eldest son, to Abijah CORNWELL, Thomas CORNWELL, Samuel CORNWELL, Sarah CORNWELL, alias HARRIS, Mary CORNWELL and Hannah CORNWELL. And appoint Capt. Jonathan ALLIN, Lt. Nathaniel GILBERT and Mr. Joseph WRIGHT of Middletown, distributors. And also to set out the widow's dowry to her.
