          CORNWALL, Capt. WAITE, Middletown. Invt. £1208-06-07. Taken 14 October, 1742, by William ROCKWELL and John HUBBARD.

          Court Record, Page 3 -- 13 December, 1742: Adms. on the estate of Waite CORNWALL, late of Middletown, unto Jacob WHITMORE of Middletown, who gave bond with John HUBBARD of Middletown for £500. Timothy CORNWALL, a minor, 20 years of age, and Abigail, 18 years of age, children of Waite CORNWALL, chose John HUBBARD of Middletown to be their guardian. Recog., £300. And it was also further certified by Jabez HAMLIN, J.P., that Susannah, another daughter of the sd. deceased, made choce of Mr. Jacob WHITMORE to be her guardian, which this Court allow. And it was further certified by sd. Justice that the widow and relict of sd. deceased desired that Jacob WHITMORE might be guardian to Mabell, age 12 years, and Sarah, age 10 years, daughters of Waite CORNWALL, deceased. Recog., £1000.

          Page 66 (Vol XV) 15 May, 1748: An account of Adms. was now exhibited in Court by Jacob CORNWALL, Adms. Accepted. This Court order distribution as followeth:

          Page 70 -- 25 May, 1748: Sarah CORNWALL, a minor, age 15 years, daughter of Waite CORNWALL: her brother-in-law Nathaniel CORNWALL to be her guardian. Recog., £500.
