          BLAKE, Freelove, Middletown. Invt. £1414-19-00. Taken 17 November, 1747, by Daniel HALL, Stephen BLAKE and William ROCKWELL.

          Court Record, Page 48 -- 3 November, 1747: This Court grant Adms. on the estate of Freelove BLAKE, of Middletown, unto John BLAKE of Middletown, who gave bond with Joseph RANNY of Middletown of £500.

          Page 70 -- 14 June, 1748: Whereas, John BLAKE and Joseph BLAKE and William ROCKWELL, guardian to Hannah BLAKE, and Jonas GREEN, guardian to Elizabeth BLAKE, all of Middletown, now move to this Court that freeholders may be appointed to make distribution of the real estate of Freelove BLAKE, late of Middletown, supposed to be deceased, viz., to sd. John and Joseph BLAKE, to each of the 1-3 part of the real estate of the sd. deceased, and to Hannah BLAKE, Abigail BLAKE and Elizabeth BLAKE, minors, children of Richard BLAKE of sd. Middletown decd., the other third part of sd real estate, in severalty by bounds, as each of sd. heirs may improve separately: Whereupon this Court appoint Ephraim ADKINS, James WARD and Jabez BROOKS of Middletown, distributors.
