Court Record, Page 7 -- 4 Feb 1745-6: This Court grant Adms. on the estate of Jeremiah BACON, late of Middletown, unto Elizabeth BACON, widow of sd. decd., & Nathaniel BACON of Middletown, who gave bond with Richard ANTHONY of Middletown of £2000. Inventory approved and ordered to be kept on file.

Page 113 -- 2 Jan 1749-50: Elizabeth BACON, alias MILLER, Adms. on the estate of Capt. Jeremiah BACON, late of Middletown, having finished her account of Adms., now moves this Court for a distribution of the estate of sd. decd.: Whereupon this Court appoint Capt. Jonathan ALLIN, Nathaniel GILBERT & Benjamin ADKINS of Middletown to make distribution:

Inventory, both real & personal, with addition: £3189-04-07
The debts allowed: £843-15-01
Which being subtracted, there remains £2345-09-06.

To Elizabeth, the relict, 1-3 part of moveable estate; to Jeremiah BACON, son of the sd. deceased, 1-2 of the remainder of the estate; To Elizabeth & Abigail BACON, daughters, the remainder in equal proportion. If there is not moveables enough, then to make up their portions in real estate.
