HOFFMAN LUTHERAN CHURCH
Hoffman Lutheran Church, near Jenner Cross Roads, was organized November 20, 1814, Rev. Ernst Heinrich Tiedemann, Pastor. The original members were: - 1. Michael Cover.

The first church aas built in 1814, and cost $75.00. The present church, erected in 1871, cost $3500.00. The present membership of the church is 67 (1884), and of the sabbath school, 77. The congregation formerly belonged to Friedens charge. In 1875 a new charge was formed, embracing Stoyestown, Horner and Hoffman congregations.
