16 Jun 1880. Union Tabernacle was dedicated. Sermon by Bentley of Ellenville, Brown of Woodbourne & Rev. Doct. West, Sect. Board of domestic & foreign missionaries, N.Y.C. It was dedicated at the Reformed Church. The following named persons presented themselves for admission to the Church upon confession of their faith - were unanimously received as members in full communion with the Church.

William D. CURRY & Stephen SLATER were elected Elders of the Church.

Samuel R. BENTON & Gideon HORNBECK were elected Deacons.

Horace CURRY & Michael DENMAN tendered their resignations as Trustees of the Lord Church, which was accepted. The Church was then duly deeded to the above named Consistory after with the following named persons were elected as Trustees.

26 Jun 1880 Consistory met at the Church

There were present:
  • Elders: Stephen SLATER & William CURRY
  • Deacons: S. R. BENTON & Gideon HORNBECK
Meeting opened with prayer by the Rev. R.P. MULLIGAN. Business of the meeting was to employ Services of a Pastor for ensuing years. The services as Pastor of the Church for the year commencing 1 May 1880, fixed at $100. The Rev. R.P. MULLIGAN was chosen as the Pastor of said Church. Stephen SLATER was chosen clerk of the Consistory, G.C. GRANT was chosen as Treasurer of the Church.

4 Jul 1880. Consistory met. There were present the Pastor Rev. R. MILLIKEN, Elders Stephen SLATE, William D. CURRY, Deacons S.R. BENTON, Gideon HORNBECK. Meter was opened with prayer by the Pastor when the following persons presented themselves for admission to the Church upon Confession of their faith & were unanimously received as members - full communion of the Church:

  • Clara CURRY, bapt.
20 Aug 1880. Consistory met. There present the Pastor, Elders Stephen SLATER & Wm. D. CURRY; Deacons S.R. BENTON & Gideon HORNBECK. Meeting was opened with prayer, when the following persons presented themselves for admission to the church, viz:--
  • Charles H. HALL, wife, dau. Alice
  • Mrs. James JOHNSON
  • Lucretia BENSON
After an examination by the Consistory, it was resolved unanimously that they be received in full communion with the Church. The rite of baptism was administered to Mrs. JOHNSON.

28 Nov 1880. Consistory met at the Church. There were present the Pastor R.P. MULLIGAN, Elders S. SLATER, Qilliam D. CURRY, Deacons S. R. BENTON, Gideon HORNBECK. [Rev. R.P. MILLIKEN]

Meeting opened with prayer by the Pastor, when the following persons presented themselves for admission to membership of the church, viz:--
  • Henry KRUM & wife
  • James JOHNSON
  • Mrs. David H. TELLER
After an examination by the Consistory, it was resolved unanimously that they severally be received in full communion with the Church. The rite of Baptism was admitted to James JOHNSON.

20 Feb 1889 Consistory met at the church, officers present: Elders S. SLATER, William D. CURRY; Deacon Samuel R. BENTON. Meeting opened with prayer by the Pastor, when the following persons presented themselves for admission to membership of the church, viz:--

  • Julia A. CRUM, Conf. of Faith
  • Ella HADDEN, w. D. VANDEMARK, bapt.
  • Mary Catherine ROSE, bapt.
  • Mary Allice SHEELY, bapt

After being duly examined by the Consistory, a motion was made & carried that they be accepted in full communion with the Church. Whereupon the Church membership extended the right hand of Christian Fellowship. Stephen SLATER, Clerk

22 Mar 1881 At a meeting of the Consistory of the Reformed Church of Unionville, held at the Church for the purpose of appointing a delegate to Classes, it was resolved that Elder William D. CURRY be appointed as such Delegate to attend all meeting of Classes Orange for the ensuing 6 months and that Elder Stephen SLATER be his secondice, R.P. MILIKEN (sic) Moderator, Stephen SLATER, Clerk of the Consistory. Meeting adjourned to the second Tuesday in April 1881

24 Mar 1882 Pursuant to notice the Consistory of the Reformed Church of Unionville met at the house of Elder W.D. CURRY. The meeting opened by prayer by the Pastor R.P. MILIKEN. Officers present: Elder Stephen SLATER, W.D. CURRY; Deacons none. Minutes of the last meeting read and approved. Motion made that Stephen SLATER should attend all meetings of Classes for the ensuing 6 months & that W.D. CURRY be his secondice.

Resolved that we employ the Rev. R. MILIKEN for the ensuing years for whose services we agree to pay $100 Stephen SLATER, Clerk

25 Jun 1885 Consistory met at the home of William D. CURRY & was opened with prayer. Present Elders CURRY & SLATER; Dea. R. CURRY. Rev. W.S. BROWN of Woodbourne being present by invitation was invited to moderate at the meeting. A call upon Rev. Gilbert LANE of South Branch, N.J. was presented & subscribed after with the Consistory adjourned with prayer. W.S. BROWN, Present Pastor

11 Sep 1886 Consistory met after the service. Elders present were Wm. D. CURRY, Stephen SLATER; Dea. R. CURRY. On motion Elder William D. CURRY was appointed Delegate Primarius & Stephen SLATER Delegate Secundus to represent this Church in classes for the next six months.

Ambrose SHEELEY & Mary Alice SHEELY were dismissed to unite with the Reformed Church of Clove. Consistory adjourned. Gilbert LANE, President

22 Dec 1889 Consistory met in the Church. Present Elders W.D. CURRY, S. SLATER; Dea. R. CURRY. Rev. Samuel MILLETT of Wurtsboro was present and acted as Moderator and opened the meeting with prayer. It being the day for the celebration of the Lord's Supper, the usual constitutional question was asked and answered satisfactorily. The following presented themselves as candidates for admission to the Church:
  • Daniel P. WRIGHT & w. Elizabeth
After an examination by the Moderator, they were unanimously received on confession of their faith. The Sacrament of the Lord's Supper was administered. Meeting closed with prayer. Wm. D. CURRY, Clerk

9 Feb 1890 At a meeting of the Consistory preparatory to the celebration of the Lord's supper. There were present Rev. J. MILLETT, Moderator; Elders W.D. CURRY, S. SLATER & Dea. CURRY. Meeting opened with prayer. The usual constitutional question was asked and answered in the negative after which the sacrament was administered. Closed with Prayer. Wm. D. CURRY. 2 May 1890 Consistory met at the Church previous to the celebration of the Lord's Supper. Rev. Samuel MILLET acted as Moderator. Present: Elder W.D. CURRY, Dea. R. CURRY. The constitutional question was asked and answered in the negative after which the sacrament was administered. Closed with Prayer. Wm. D. CURRY.

9 Feb 1891 Consistory met at the Church on the Sabbath afternoon. Present: Rev. J. MILLETT of Bloomingdale; Elders W.R. (sic) CURRY, S. SLATER; Deacon R. CURRY. It being the day for the Lord's Supper, the usual consistory question was asked and answered in the negative. The Lord's Supper was then administered by the Moderator, Rev. J. MILLETT. Meeting opened & closed with prayer. Wm. D. CURRY

10 May 1891 Consistory met before Celebration of the Lord's Supper. Present: Rev. J. MILLETT; Elders W.D. CURRY, S. SLATE (sic); Dea. R. CURRY. The Constitutional question was asked by the Moderator Rev. J. MILLETT and answered satisfactorily. Sacrament administered. Meeting opened & closed with prayer. Wm. D. CURRY

13 Sep 1891 Consistory met at the Church previous to the celebration of the Lord's Supper. Rev. Samuel MILLET acted as Moderator. Present: Elder W.D. CURRY, Dea. R. CURRY. The constitutional question was asked and answered in the negative after which the sacrament was administered. Closed with Prayer. Wm. D. CURRY.

7 Feb 1892 Consistory met at the Church previous to the celebration of the Lord's Supper. Rev. Samuel MILLET acted as Moderator. Present: Elder W.D. CURRY, Dea. R. CURRY. The usual questions were asked and answered satisfactorily. Sacrament was administered. Meeting opened & closed with Prayer. Wm. D. CURRY.

25 Sep 1892 Consistory met at the Church previous to the celebration of the Lord's Supper. Present:-- Rev. J. MILLET; Elder W.D. CURRY, S. SLATER; Dea. R. CURRY. The constitutional questions were asked and answered in the negative. Meeting opened & closed with Prayer. Wm. D. CURRY.

14 Nov 1892 Consistory met at the house of N.C. CLARK jointly with the Reformed Church, Grahamsville. Members present - Elders CURRY & Slater. Rev. Mr. STATESIR of Woodbourne was Moderator. The purpose of the meeting was to make out a call to Rev. W. COOMBS. The calls of both churches were agreed to by the Minister & consistories and signed accordingly. Meeting opened & closed with Prayer. Wm. D. CURRY.

10 Jun 1893 W. COOMBS was duly installed as a Moderator of the Church jointly with the Grahamsville Reformed Church on 10 Jan 1893 at Said Church. Rev. R.H. BEATTIE presided read the forum & preached the sermon. Rev. B.T. STATESIR gave the charge to the people. W.D. CURRY

4 Feb 1893 Consistory met at the Church previous to the celebration of the Lord's Supper. Present: the Pastor; Elders CURRY & SLATER. The usual constitutional question was asked & answered in the negative. Communion celebrated; meeting opened & closed with prayer. W.D. CURRY

7 May 1893 Consistory met previous to the celebration of the Lord's Supper. Present: the Pastor; Elders CURRY & SLATER. The usual constitutional question was asked & answered in the negative. Opened & closed with prayer. W. COOMBS, Moderator.

14 Aug 1893 Consistory met at the Church Sunday afternoon, it being the day for the celebration of the Lord's Supper. Present: The Pastor, Elder CURRY, etc. Opened & closed with prayer. W. COOMBS Moderator.

12 Sep 1893 Consistory met in the Reformed Church at Grahamville for the purpose of appointing a delegate to represent this Church at the Classis of Orange. On motion it was resolved that Elder W.D. CURRY be delegated primarus & Elder Stephen SLATER his secondus. The meeting was opened & closed with Prayer. W. COOMBS, Moderator

17 Oct 1893 Examined by the Comm. of Classis & found corect. H.A. HENDRICKSON, Gilbert Lake, E. HOORNBECK, Committee

23 Mar 1894 Consistory met at the Reformed Church of Grahamsville. Members present: the Minister, Elders SLATER & CURRY. Rev. B.F. STATESIR of Woodbourne was present by request and acted as Moderator. The pastor having stated that he had received a call from the Church of Rosendale & had accepted same, because of a broader field of labor. He, therefore, resigned his pastorate - on motion it was unanimously accepted - on motion it was resolved to unite with the minister in an application of the Classis of Orange for a dissolution of the pastoral relation existing between Mr. COOME & the Church of Unionville

Also - Resolved that while we agree to the request of our Pastor Rev. W. COOMBE, for a dissolution of the pastoral relation, we hereby express our regret at his departure and bear testimony of his faithfulness & usefulness as Preacher and Pastor & invoke the blessing of the great Head of the Church upon him in his new field of labor. 15 Apr 1896 Consistory met at the Reformed Church, Grahamsville. Members present - the Pastor, Elders SLATER, CURRY. On motion Elder Stephen SLATER was appointed delegate to attend all meetings of the Classis of Orange for the ensuing six months & Elder Wm. D. CURRY, his alternate. W. COOMBE, Moderator.

4 Aug 1901 The Consistory of the Union Reformed Church met. Members present: Wm. D. CURRY, Rev. H.C. BERG, D.D. of Ellensville. After examination it was resolved that
  • Mrs. Grant CURRY
be admitted into the Unionville Reformed Church on confession of faith & was heartly welcomed by the communicant members in full communion. Wm. D. CURRY, Elder

20 Oct 1901 The Consistory of the Reformed Church held a meeting at the Unionville Reformed Church. Members present: William D. CURRY, Gideon HORNBECK. It was resolved that the church letter of
  • Mr. & Mrs. Abel DuBOIS
be excepted in this Church from Dashville Reformed Church.

8 Dec 1901 The Consistory of the Unionville Church convened. Members present: Wm. D. CURRY, Rause CURRAY, Rev. B. STATESIER of Woodbourne, officiating. After examination it was resolved that the following be admitted into the church in full communion:

6 Dec 1902 A congregational meeting was called for the purpose of electing a new Consistory. Nomination for Elder W.D. CURRY, A.G. HORNBECK. W.D. CURRY was elected. Nomination for Deacons CURRY & HORNBECK, Burgoyne KNIGHT, G.C. GRANT, Merle LOW, R.T. GRANT. Elected Burgoyne KNIGHT. Meeting closed with prayer by the Pastor. Burgoyne KNIGHT, Secy.

21 Apr 1903 Examined, Peter CRISPELL

1 Sep 1912 A meeting of the Consistory was convened. No charges were preferred. The following were received into Church membership on confession:

  • Wm. SHEELEY
