March 9, 1826, at Randolph, Vt.; m. in Andover in 1809, MARY, dau. of Ebenezer and Mary TUCKER, who lived near Reuben Brown's place. Mary was b. Dec. 25, 1785; d. Sept. 9, 1848, at Randolph, Vt. Stephen Green learned the blacksmith's trade with William Proctor at East Andover. Then lived in Bridgewater about three years. Returned to Andover and lived on the Timothy Weare farm at the foot of Cilley's hill. Finally moved to Vermont. He built the first house on the John Weare farm.
