1704 to 1804

[Transcribed by Jane Devlin]

[Transcriber's Note:-- Names & Dates have been extracted from the epitaphs along with any notes identifying the individual. I have not transcribed the exact wording in order to present the data in a more compact format.

Ages on the stones are given either as an age or as "in the -- year of his age" (transcribed here as "in his -- year"). In the latter case the individual had not yet reached the given age. I.e., the 47th year of his age would be between the 46th & 47th birthdays.

Also at this time, the title of Mistress (Mrs.) could be a indication of social standing rather than marriage, so it isn't unusual to find a young girl whose father was important in the town listed as Mrs.]
