The tombstone of Catherine RULLY CARTER, b. Abt. 1744, d. 21 March 1809 in Killingworth. She was the spouse of William CARTER, m. 11 June 1798 in Killingworth and the mother of Henry CARTER. This was a very damaged tombstone--you can hardly read the words--had to do most of the transcription by feeling the letters and numbers. Also, could not make out any other words on this transcription. -- js
