Deed from James WRIGHT to Joseph WATEROUS
Know all men by these presents that I James WRIGHT of Say Brook in ye County of New London & Colony of Connecticut in New England for & in consideration of ye sum of Twenty shillings currant money of ye Colony afores'd to me in paid before ye ensealing & delivery of these presents by Joseph WATEROUS of ye aforesaid Say Brook ye Receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge have given, granted Remised Released Quit-Claimed and Confirmed & by these presents Do freely fully & absolutely give grant Remise Release Quit Claim & Confirm unto him ye said Joseph WATEROUS his heirs & assigns forever all ye Right title Interest claims and demand which I ye said James WRIGHT ever had now have or which I my heirs executors or administrators have or ought to have of in or to a certain Tract or parcel of land situate in ye Township of Say Brook aforesaid lying in Oyster River Quarter it being in Length fourty five Rods tin breadth Twelve Rods bounded Northerly by ye Country road Southerly by Menncateseck River Easterly by ye said WATEROUS's own land, Westerly by ye s'd WRIGHT's Land containing three acres
To Have & To Hold ye said Released Premises with all ye appurtainances previledges and Commodities to ye same belonging or in any wise appertaining to him ye s'd Joseph WATEROUS his heirs and assigns forever to his & their own proper use benefit & behoof forever free & Clear freely & clearly without any manner of reclaim challeng or contradiction of me ye said James WRIGHT my heirs Executors or administrators & without any account Reconing or answer therefore to be given rendered or Done in time to come to or to them so that neither I ye said James WRIGHT my heirs Executors administrators nor any other person or persons in mine or their name Right or stead shall at anytime here after have claim Challenge or Demand ye s'd Released premises or any part thereof, but myselfe & every of my heirs Executors & administrators shall be utterly excluded & forever debared thereof
In Witness Whereof I ye s'd James WRIGHT have hereunto set my hand & seal this twenty second Day of July A.D. 1730 & in ye fourth year of his Majesties Reign George the second King of Great Brittain &c.
