Entered April ye 20th 1742

To all Christian people to whom these presents shall Come I Nathaniel WILLCOCKS in the County of Newlondon and Colony of Conecticut in New England husbandman sendeth Greeting Know ye that I the s'd Nathaniel WILLCOCKS for and in Consideration of about six acres of Land surveyed and secured to me by y'e proprietors of y'e Comon Land in s'd Killingworth have given granted Bargained sold allienated Conveyed made over Conveyed and Confirmed and by these presents Do fully freely and absolutely give grant bargain sell alien make over Convey and confirm unto them the proprietors their heirs and assigns forever one me? And tract of Land scituate in the township of Killingworth afores'd viz one care of Land lying and being between the Branches of hamanasit River; on the Southerly side of s'd WILLCOCKES house Lott in part and partly across y'e Easterly side of s'd Lott where the plaines path now goes beginning at the Southwest Corner of s'd lott by the County Road Runing Easterly and northerly until it Comes Cross y'e s'd lott of s'd plaines path now goes in Length Eighty Rods in breadth two Rods that is to say one Rod Each way from the middle of s'd path: To Have and to Hold y'e above bargained premises with the appurtenances to the same belonging or any wise appertaining to them the s'd proprieters their heirs and assigns forever to their only proper use benfit and behof forever and I ye s'd Nathaniel WILLCOCKS for my self my heirs Executors and administrators Do Covenant promise and grant to and with ye s'd proprietors their heirs that before the Ensealeing of these presents I am the true owner of the above bargained premises and have in my self good Right to bargain and sell the same in manner as above s'd and furthermore I the s'd Nathaniel WILLCOCKS for my self my heirs Executors and administrators Do dovenant and Engage y'e above bargained premises to them the s'd proprieters forever here after to warrant and defend In witness whereof I have sett my hand and seale this 17th Day of March AD 1742
