To all People to whom these Presents shall come Greeting Know ye That I Samuel WILLARD of Say-Brook in the County of New London and Colony of Connecticut in New England for ye consideration of Three Hundred and fifty pounds money Currant of New England to me in hand paid by James WRIGHT of the same Say-Brook have granted sold and conveyed by these presents to give grant bargain sell and confirm unto the said James WRIGHT his heirs and assigns forever a certain tract or parcel of land lying and being in Oyster River Quarter in Say-Brook which was formerly layed out to Capt. Sam'll WILLARD late of Say-Brook Dec'd for one hundred acres North of the River called Falls River and is bounded South partly on ye said River and Partly on land formerly Capt. John CHAPMAN's and partly on land formerly John JORDANS Westerly on said Falls River Northerly on land that lay in common and undivided when land was layed out and Easterly on Common land and a Brook, and is in length Easterly and Westerly one hundred and sixty four rods and in Weadth on the West side one hundred and ten Rods and on ye East side ninety two rods the Northwest Corner is an Elm tree standing by said River the Northeast Corner is an Elm tree standing by said River the North east corner is a white oak both marked and stones about the Southeast Corner is the Mouth of a Book that runs into the said River and the Southwest corner is where the line intersects or crosses the line of said Capt. CHAPMAN's land be the whole of said land within ye bounds more or less.

To have and to hold the above granted and bargained premises with ye appurtenances unto him the said James WRIGHT his heirs and assigns forever to his and their own proper use and behoof and also I the said Sam'll WILLARD do for myself my heirs executors and administrators Covenant with the said James WRIGHT his heirs and assigns that at and until the Ensealing of these presents I am lawfully seized of ye Premises as a good Indefeasible estate in fee simple and have good right to bargain and sell the same in manner and Form as is above written and that the same is free of all incumbrances whatsoever, and furthermore I the said Samuel WILLARD do by these presents Bind myself my heirs forever to warrant and Defend the above granted and bargained premises to him the said James WRIGHT his heirs and assigns against all Claims and demands whatsoever.

In Witness Whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal the fourth day of December in ye Twelvth year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George Ye Second of Great Brittain &c. King Annoque Domini 1738.
