Deed from Abraham WATERHOUSE to his son, Abraham WATERHOUSE

Know all Men by these presents That I Abr'm WATERHOUSE of Say-Brook in the County of New London and Colony of Connecticut in New England for and in consideration of ye love and good will and affection which I have for my loving son Abraham WATERHOUSE of the Parish of Chester in Say-Brook aforesaid have given and granted and by these presents Do give and grant convey and confirm unto him my son Abraham WATERHOUSE his heirs and assigns forever all that my thirteen hundred and five pounds two shillings Right in that lott of land in Pataconk called the first lott lying on the West side of Cedar swamp pond in Saybrook aforesaid and is bounded southerly on a highway East on Highway that leads from the pond to Jonathan CHAPMAN's and partly on line dividing Pataconk lands from the Quarters West on Lotts No. 4 and North on Samuel WILLARD's Lott No. 2 and is in length East and West from highway by the pond one hundred and eighty two rods and in Weadth Northerly and Southerly from the dividing line aforesaid one hundred and sixteen rods.

To have and to hold the above granted and bargained premises with the appurtenances thereof unto him the said Abr'm WATERHOUSE his heirs and assigns forever to his and their own proper use and behoof; and I the said Abraham WATERHOUSE do by these presents vouch the thirteen hundred and five pound right in said lott to be my own and that I have good right to convey the same as above sd. And do hereby covenant and grant that he my said son Abr'm his heirs and assigns shall and may forever hereafter by force and virtue of these presents have hold use possess and enjoy all my Right in the said lott as a good absolute estate of inheritance in fee simple without any hinderance let or molestation from me or any person by from or under me.

In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 8th day of February Anno Domini 1742/3
