To all Christian People to whome these presents shall Come Greeting Know ye that I Benjamin TURNER of Killingworth in New london County & Coloney of Conecticut in New England for and in Consideration of the sum of twenty Eight pounds Currant money to me in hand paid before the Ensealeing here of by Samuel CARTER of the above s'd Killingworth the Receipt whereof I hereby acknowledge to full satisfaction have Given Granted Bargained sold alliened Conveyed and Confirmed & by these presents Do freely fully & absolutly give grant Bargain sell allien Convey and Confirm unto him the s'd Samuel CARTER his heirs and assigns forever my tenth Division of Land in Killingworth lying at the looer end of ye hill Called the walnut hill begining at a heap of stones which is the southeast Corner Runing thence westerly fifty seven Rods to a heap of stones runing thence Northwardly twenty seven Rods to a heap of stones which is the southeast Corner of Jonathan FRANKLEN's Land runing thence Eastwarly forty five Rods to a heap of stones runing thence thirty nine Rodst o the first mentioned Corner Containing nine acres & thirty nine Rods land: and southwardly by Land belonging to sarg Daniel KELCEY Every way Elce by Common Land

To Have and To Hold the s'd Granted and Bargained premises with all the appurtenances privilidges and Comodities to the same belonging or in any wise appertaining to him the s'd Samuel CARTTER his heirs and assigns forever to his & their only propper use benifit and behoof forever and I the s'd Benjamin TURNER for my self my heirs Executors and administrators Do Covenant promis and Grant to and with the s'd Samuel CARTER his heirs and assigns that before the Ensealeing here of I am the true sole and Lawfull owner of the above Granted premises and have in my self Good Right full power and Lawfull authority to Bargain and sell the same in manner of above s'd and that the s'd Samuel CARTER his heirs and assigns shall and may from time to time and at all times forever hereafter by force and virtue of these presents Lawfully peaceably quietly have hold use occupie possess & Enjoy the s'd Granted premises freely & Clearly acquitted & discharged of and from all manner of former or other gifts Grants Bargains sales or incumbrances in the Law what soever more over I the s'd Benjamin TURNER for my self my heirs Executors and administrators Do promis and Engage the above Granted premises unto him the s'd Samuel CARTER his heirs and assigns against the Lawfull Claimes or Demands of any person or persons whomsoever forever to warrant secure and defend In witness whereof I have here unto set my hand & seale this first Day of august 1735
