Deed from Thomas SPENCER to John WEBB

Know all men by these Presents that I Thomas SPENCER of Say-Brook in the County of New London and Colony of Connecticut for and in consideration of the sum of thirty two Pounds ten shillings in Currant money Rec'd to my full satisfaction of John WEBB of Say-Brook have given granted bargained sold conveyed and confirmed and by these presents do give, grant bargain sell convey and confirm unto the said John WEBB his heirs and assigns forever one hundred and fourty Seven Pound four shillings Right in the Lott No three in the land lately laid out in Pateconk in said Say-Brook lying Eastward of Cedar Swamp Pond and is bounded North on the highway East on Lott No 2 South on ye line between Pataconk and Potopague Quarters, West on Lott No 4 in common with the proprietors of said Lott.

To Have and to hold ye above Granted and bargained premises with the appurtenances unto him the said John WEBB his heirs and assigns forever to his and their proper use and behoof.

And also I the said Thomas SPENCER do for myself my heirs executors and administrators Covenant with the said John WEBB his heirs and assigns that at and until ye ensealing of these presents I am lawfully seized of the premises as a good and absolute estate in fee simple and have good right to bargain and sell the same in manner and form as is above written.

And Furthermore I the said Thomas SPENCER Do by these presents bind myself my heirs &c., forever to Warrant Secure and Defend the above granted and bargained premises to him ye said John WEBB his heirs and assigns against all claims or demands whatsoever.

In Witness whereof I ye said Thomas SPENCER have hereunto set my hand and seal this 10th day of Aprill 1739.
