Deed from Jared SPENCER to his Brother, Thomas SPENCER
Know all men by these presents that I Jared SPENCER of SayBrook in the County of New London & Colony of Connecticut in New England for & in Consideration of ye Sum of thirty shillings money to me in hand paid by my loving Brother Thomas SPENCER of SayBrook have given granted bargained sold & by these presents Do freely & absolutely give grant bargain sell aliene Convey & Confirm unto him ye said Thomas SPENCER his heirs and assigns forever all my Right Title Interest & Claim in & unto a certain tract of land in SayBrook aforesaid Known by the name of ye two mile on ye North part of said Township att Pataquonke, To Have & to Hold all and singular my Right & Title as above expressed in and unto ye above Tract of land to him the s'd Thomas SPENCER his heirs and assigns forever & I ye s'd Jared SPENCER Do promise ye same to him the s'd Thomas SPENCER his heirs and assigns forever against ye lawfull Claim or Demands of all persons whatsoever Claiming from by or under me my means privity or procurement To Warrant Secure & Defend,
In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seal this thirteenth Day of Feb. Anno Dom 1729-30 and in ye third year of his Majesties Reign
