Deed from Jared SPENCER to Caleb SPENCER

Know all men by these presents that I Jared SPENCER of Say Brook in the County of New London and Colony of Connecticut in New England for and in Consideration of Eight Pounds money Received of Caleb SPENCER of Saybrook aforesaid which I do acknowledge myself satisfied Contented and paid have given granted sold & confirmed & do by these presents fully give grant sell Convey & Confirm unto him ye said Caleb SPENCER his heirs & assigns these Two tracts of land being and lying in Oyster River Quarter in ye Township of Say Brook in Pouchauge which Tracts of land Containing nine acres more or less one parcel lying on ye west side of ye highway or County road to wit on ye West bounded thus South upon my own land East North and West upon Caleb SPENCER's land & at the norwest Corner of Caleb SPENCERS Orchard at stake with stones about it & fro thence Running to a stake standing by ye five mile River these two bounds Including ye West Tract The East Trace lying Southerly upon my own land West upon ye highway North upon Caleb SPENCER's land East upon ye highway & at the North west Corner by ye Highway a stake with stones about it from thence running Northeast to a Wallnut Tree with stones about it from thence running North to a stake & stones about it & from thence running to the aforementioned stake. To Have & To Hold the above granted & Bargained Premises with all the appurtainances thereunto belonging to ye only proper use benefit & behoof of him the said Caleb SPENCER his heirs & assigns forever & I the said Jared SPENCER for myself my heirs executors and administrators and assigns Do hereby Covenant Promise Grant to & with the said Caleb SPENCER his heirs & assigns that at ye ensealing hereof I am ye sole & lawfull owner of ye above demised Premises and have in myself good right & lawfull authority to convey the same as aboves'd and henceforth & forever hereafter it may be lawfull for ye said Caleb SPENCER his heirs & assigns by force & virtue of these present to enter upon have hold use possess & Injoy ye above Demised premises & ye appurtainances with out any ejectment Distrubance or Incumbrance of Title whatsoever & furthermore I ye said Jared SPENCER for myself my heirs Executors administrators & assigns Do hereby Covenant Ingage that ye above bargained Premises to him the said Caleb SPENCER his heirs & assigns against all lawfull claims or Demands of any person or persons whatsoever hereafter to Warrant and Defend.
