To all People to whom these Presents shall come Greeting Know ye That I Lorenzo Smith of Saybrook in the County of Middlesex and State of Connecticut For the Consideration of one Hundred & Twenty Dollars received to my full satisfaction of Josiah NOTT 2d & Clark NOTT of s'd Saybrook Do bargain sell unto the s'd Josiah & Clark their heirs and Assigns forever a certain piece of Land lying in the said County of s'd Saybrook adjoining the s'd Lorenzo's Home lot Beginning at the Corner by the Highway-thence Westerly by the s'd Lorenzo's Land to the corner when the Frence now Stands - thence Northerly by the said Lorenzo's Land to Jacob CHALKER's Land thence by s'd CHALKER's Land Westerly to the Rev'd Aaron ? Land thence Southerly by s'd Hoovy's? Land about thirty three rods to a stake & stones thence Easterly by Christopher POST's Land to the Highway - thence Northerly by the Highway to the first mentioned Bound Containing about Nineteen Acres more or less

To Have and to Hold the Premises with the appurtenances there of to their ?? s'd Josiah & Clark their Heirs and Assigns to their own proper use and behoof And Furthermore I the s'd Lorenzo do for myself my Heirs Executors and Administrators Covenant with the s'd Josiah & Clark their Heirs & Assigns that I have in my self good right to sell the same as aforesaid and do Warrant and Defend the same against all Claims and Demands whatsoever In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and Seal this 18th Day of March Ad 1805
