To all People to whom these Presents shall come-Greeting: Know ye, That I Lorenzo SMITH of Westbrook in the County of Middlesex for the consideration of Four hundred and Fifty Dollars received to my full satisfaction of Lucy P. WRIGHT of said Westbrook Do give, grant bargain, sell, and confirm unto the said Lucy P. Wright her heirs and assigns forever a certain piece of Land with a Dwelling House and Barn thereon standing lying in said Westbrook Containing one acre be the same more or less commonly called the Lewis JONES Place and bounded East by Highway North and West on John D. WOLF land. South by Perry JONES land The said Lorenzo SMITH is to retain the use of said Property during his natural life.

To have and to hold the above granted and bargained premises, with the appertenances thereof, unto her the said Lucy P. WRIGHT her heirs and assigns forever, to her and their own proper use and behoof And also I the said Lorenzo SMITH do for my self and my heirs, executors, and administrators, covenant with the said Lucy P. WRIGHT her heirs and assigns; that at and until the ensealing these Presents I am well seized of the premises as a good indefeasible estate in fee simple; and have good right to bargain and sell the same in manner and form as is above written; and that the same is free of all incumbrances whatsoever.

And Furthermore, I the said Lorenzo SMITH do by these Presents bind myself and my heirs for ever to Warrant and Defend the above granted and bargained Premises to her the said Lucy P. WRIGHT her heirs and assigns, against all claims and demands whatsoever.

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and Seal the 5th day of August Anno Domini, 1851.
