Deed from Oyster River Quarter Proprietors to James WRIGHT
Say Brook July 26th 1728
We the subscribers measurers of land for ye proprietors of Oyster River Quarter in ye said Say Brook at the Desire of James WRIGHT have laid out for him twenty acres of land in s'd Quarter upon a fifty pound Right given to ye father of ye said James WRIGHT Sen'r ye s'd twenty acres is bounded South on ye Country Rode East on a highway North on Common land West upon ye homestead of ye said James WRIGHT & is in length Northerly & Southerly Eighty rods & is in Width at ye South end fourty two Rods & at ye North end thirty eight rods the South East Corner is a White Oake tree ye North East Corner is a small black Oake staddle the north west Corner is a heap of stones & the Southwest Corner is a large white Tree standing on ye Western side of a small brook & next ye Country road both of which white Trees & ye black oak Staddle are marked with JW, & stones laid about them laid out by us upon the South end of horse hill us the proportion belonged to said fifty pound Right in the Division Last agreed on by said proprietors of fourty acres to ye hundred pound Right
