Entered March ye 23d 1726

To all People to whome these presents shall Come Zachariah SANFORD of Saybrook in the County of Newlondon & Coloney of Conecticut in New England, with Hannah his wife Sends Greeting Know ye that I the s'd Zachariah SANFORD for and in Consideration of five pounds money which I have in hand Rec'd of John CHATFIELD of Killingworth in the County afore s'd with which I acknowledge my self fully satisfied Contented and paid Have Given, Granted Conveyed and Confirmed & Do by these presents, Give, Grant, Bargain, sell Convey & Confirm unto him the said John CHATFIELD two acres of meadow Land lying in Killingworth afore said at a Certain Place Known by the name of boggie meadow & is in Breadth fourteen Rods in length from the stake on the north to the marked tree on the point of John MEIGGS Land & is Bounded Easterly on the meadow land that was formerly Joseph HANDS and westerly partly on the home lott that did formerly belong to John NETTELTON Dec;d and party on Land that was formerly Robart WILLIAMS ? To Have and To Hold the s'd two acres of meadow be it more or less with all y'e privilidges benifits Comodities & appurtenances to y'e same in any wise Belonging or appertaining to y'e only propper use benifitt and behoofe of the s'd John CHATFIELD his heirs and assigns forever & I the said Zachariah SANFORD for my self my heirs Executors & administrators Do hereby Covenant promise & Grant to and with the said CHATFIELD his heirs and assigns that I am Lawfully seized and possessed of the premises & therefore with Hannah my wife have full power and Lawfull authority to Convey the same of the above s'd and that it Shall henceforth Be Lawfull for the s'd CHATFIELD his heirs & assigns to Enter upon Have Hold use possess & Injoy the same with out any Ejectment Disturbance molestation or Incumbrance of title whatsoever & further more I the said Zachariah SANFORD for my Heirs Executors & administrators Do hereby Covenant & Engage To warrant secure and Defend the above Demised premises to him the said John CHATFIELD his heirs & assigns against the Lawfull Claimes of any person or persons whatsoever In Witness where of the s'd Zachariah SANFORD & Hannah his wife have here unto set their hands & seales this 21st day of March anno=Dominie 1726
