Deed of Land Laid Out for Robert CARTER

March 30 1732. Then we ye subscribers Measureres of Land for ye Proprietors of Oyster River Quarter laid for Mr. Robert CARTER of Killingworth fifteen acres of land in Oyster River Quarter in ye Township of Say Brook on ye West of ye upper piece of s'd Isaac CHALKERS land on horse hill ye Norwest Corner is a Black Oak from thence it runs Eastward thirty rods to a Red Oak which from thence Southward fifty eight Rod to a Black Oak which is ye Southwest corner of ye upper tract of s'd CHALKERS land & from thence it runs Westward twenty four Rods to a White Oak which is ye Norwest Corner of ye next tract of said CHALKERS land from thence Southward Six Rods to a Wallnut tree & from thence Westward 24 Rods to a Red Oak which is his Southwest Corner & from thence to ye Northwest Corner first mentioned it is Sixty four Rods all which Trees herein mentioned are marked & stones about them which fifteen acres is s'd CARTERs full Proportion according to his Right in ye last Division of thirty acres to ye hundred Pounds Right agreed on by the s'd Proprietors which Right he had from Capt. Sam'll CHAPMAN laid out by us.
