March 9th: 1742/3 Then We the subscribers measurers of land for ye proprietors of Oyster River Quarter laid out to Nathan POST five acres of land in said Quarter in ye Township of Saybrook West of his Dwelling House in two pieces the first piece lyeth round the Norwest corner of his lot South of ye highway before his door & bounds Southerly part by said land and part by Common land this contains one acre and 138 rods all within fence -

The other piece we laid out to ye North of this and in the Crotch of ye highway and Bounds Westerly 45 rods by the highway leading to the saw mill and Easterly 45 rods upon the highway leading up to John POST's & North part upon John POST's land and part upon Common twenty rods, the Southend 5 rods in weadth upon highway ye Northeast Corner is a Black oak which is ye South west Corner of John POST's land ye Norwest a Wall nut Stadle the Southeast and Southwest Corners are heaps of stone: which five acres of land is laid out to him on the right of his Father which with what they have heretofore had laid out is full proportin in all Divisions as yet agreed on by the proprietors of said Quarter.
