Deed from Proprietors to John MURDOCK
Laid out to John MURDOCK Seven acres of land on the Westward side of the Twenty acres of land before laid out to him in Oyster River Quarter in the Township of Saybrook on a hill above Lion Meadow Hill and it bounds Easterly fourty Rods on said Land and Northerly 32 rods & Westerly fourty rods & Southerly 24 rods on Commons The Northeast corner is a Chestnut tree which is also the Norwest corner of his aforesaid twenty acres; and the Southeast is a heap of Stone on ye East side of a ledge in the line of his said land the South west is a maple tree and the Northwest corner is a small Walnut Stadle which seven acres of land is laid out to him for one acres conveyed by him to the proprietors of ye Oyster River Quarter for a highway at the Southend of Lion meadow hill as may be seen in his deed to ye proprietors bearing date with these presents
