Deed for Land Laid out to Lt. John CLARK from Oyster River Proprietors

Say-Brook November 3d. 1743: Then we the subscribers measurers of land for the Proprietors of Oyster River Quarter laid out to Lt. John CLARK a piece of land in Say-Brook in the Quarter aforesaid on Old Mares hill Ninety rods long Northerly and Southerly, at the North end its three rod wide and hold the same weadth thirty six rods Southerly and then widens gradually till it comes to the South end where it is five rods wide, It bounds South on Mr. Nath'll CLARK's land, Easterly and Westerly and Northerly on highways and contains two acres and four rods.
