Deed from Jordan POST to Daniel POST
Know all men by these presents that I Jordon POST of Hebron in the County of Hartford and Colony of Connecticut in New England Husbandman for & in Consideration of the sum of twenty five pounds in Currant money which I have in hand before the ensealing of these presents Rec'd of my Brother Dan'll POST of Say Brook in the County of New London & Colony aforesaid (Husbandman) with which I acknowledge myself fully satisfied Contented and paid Have given granted bargained sold aliened conveyed & Confirmed & Do by these presents fully freely & absolutely give grant bargain sell convey & confirm unto him the said Daniel POST his heirs & assigns forever these tracts of land Hereafter Described viz: one piece of land in Oyster River Quarter in Say Brook aforesaid containing ten acres more or less Bounded East on said Daniel POST's land, north on Abraham POST's land West & South on Common land the north west & Southeast Corners are Black Oak Trees with stones about them the South west corner is a maple tree & the northeast corner is a Chestnut tree & a heap of stones, & one other piece of land in the town & Quarter aforesaid containing about Eight or ten acres more or less & is bounded East on Jared SPENCER's land South on said Daniel POST's land West on an highway North on Common land in the northwest corner is a Chestnut stubb, the North East corner is a Chestnut tree marked J.P. the South East corner is a white Oak staddle all stones about them the Southwest Corner is an heap of stones, To Have and to hold said Bargained premises with all & singular ye profits benefits Privileges & appurtainances to the same belonging or appertaining to the only proper use Benefit & Behoof of the said Daniel POST his heirs & assigns forever & I ye said Jordan POST for my self my heirs executors administrators Do Covenant Promise & Grant to and with the said Daniel POST his heirs & assigns that at the ensealing hereof I am the sole & lawfull owner of ye premises & therefore have good Right & lawfull authority to Dispose of the same as abovesaid & that the said Daniel POST his heirs & assigns shall and may henceforth & forever hereafter by force & virtue of these presents enter upon have hold use possess & Injoy the same & every part thereof without any ejectment Diseizino molestation Distrubance or incumbrance of title whatsoever & furthermore I ye said Jordan POST for myself my heirs executors & administrators Do hereby Covenant & Ingage ye above Demised premises to him ye said Daniel POST his heirs & assigns against ye lawfull claims or Demands of any person or persons whomsoever to Warrant Secure & Defend.
