Deed from James, Hezakiah & Stephen POST to Ebenezer PLATTS To Make Up the Portion of their Sister, Dorothy PLATT's Out of Their Father's Estate.

Know all men by these presents that We James POST Hezakiah POST and Stephen POST all of Saybrook in the County of New London & Colony of Connecticut in New England for a valuable consideration to us to our content paid especialy to make up the portion of our sister Dorathy PLATTS out of our Father's estate do hereby these presents give grant Quit-claim and confirm unto him Ebenezer PLATTS & to the said Dorothy his wife both of the same Say-Brook all that Right Estate Claim and Demand which we either or all of us have in & unto a certain Right in Pataconk lands In Saybrook aforesaid which to our father James POST of said Saybrook Dec'd belonged in and unto all ye common land yet Remaining to be laid out on said Right & all the Divisions & allotments which ever have or hereafter shall be laid out on all the said Right which Right is what belonged to ye estate of about one hundred and twenty one Pound.

To Have & to hold all ye above granted and released premises with the appurtenances to the only proper use Benefit & Behoof of ye said Ebenezer and Dorothy their heirs & assigns forever to that the same shall be henceforth holden as a good estate in fee simple to ye said Ebenezer and Dorothy and to her heirs and assigns Shall henceforth have challenge or demand any estate right or title or interest in or unto ye conveyed Premises but there from & thereunto shall be effectually & forever barred & Secluded by these presents.

In witness whereof we have hereunto set our hands & seals this 3d, day of January Anno Domini 1736
