Deed from Stephen POST to Nicholas MARSON

Know all men by these presents that I, Stephen POST of Labanon in ye County of New London & Colony of Connecticut in New England Husbandman for & in Consideration of ye sum of five Pounds six Shillings & Eight pence to me in hand before ye ensealing of these presents well & truly paid by Nicholas MARSON of Say Brook in ye County afores'd husbandman ye Receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge have given granted bargained sold Enfeoffed & confirmed & Do by these Presents fully & absolutely give grant bargain sell enfeoffe & confirm unto the said Nicholas MARSON his heirs & assigns forever a certain RIGHT in that Parcell of land called ye Town Commons in Saybrook afores'd belonging to the estate of one Hundred Pounds with all ye Rights Divisions members Priviledges appurtainances and commodities to ye same belonging To Have & to Hold ye said Hundred Pound Right with all ye Grounds meadows Commonsiges or whatever priviledges or Conveniences appertaining thereunto to him ye s'd Nicholas MARSON his heirs & assigns forever to his & their own proper use Benefit & Behoof forever & I ye said Stephen POST for my self my heirs Executors & administrators Do Dovenant Promise & Grant to and with ye said Nicolas MARSON his heirs & assigns that before the Ensealing hereof I am ye true sole & lawfull owner of ye above bargained Premises & have in myself good Right & authority to Dispose of ye same as above'sd & that ye said Nicolas MARSON his heirs & assigns shall & may henceforth and forever hereafter by force & vertue of these presents lawfully peaceably and quietly have hold use possess & Injoy ye same without any Ejectment Molestation Disturbance or Incumbrance of title whatsoever & in ye like good Possession him ye said Nicolas MARSON his heirs & assigns. I ye s'd Stephen POST Do oblige myself my heirs executors & administrators to Warrant Secure & Defend.

In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seal this fifty day of March Anno Domini 1720 & in ye sixth year of ye Reign of King George
