Its agreed this 12th day of August 1651 between Stephen POST ye one partie & John LAY ye other partie as followeth,
The said John LAY Doth by these presents make over to said Stephen POST all his lands at Pochuge viz fifty four acres of upland with ye meadows & Commonage there unto belonging & such a proportion of meadow as belongs to a hundred pound right for which ye said Stephen POST is to pay fifty pounds in well conditioned Country pay to Mr. HOPKINS or his assigns for John LAY & to take of ye rate for an hundred pound Estate & this payment to be made between the date hereof & ye 19th of September in the next year.
