Deed from Jordan POST to Joseph BLAGUE

To all People to whom these Presents Shall come Greeting; Know ye that I Jordan POST of Say-Brook, in the County of New London and Colony of Connecticut, in New England for and in Consideration of ye sum of two pounds ten shillings in money to me in hand paid before the ensealing hereof Joseph BLAGUE of Say-Brook in the County of New london and Colony aforesaid ye receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge and myself therewith fully satisfied and contented and thereof and of every part and parcel thereof do exonerate acquit and discharge ye said Joseph BLAGUE his heirs executors administrators forever by these presents have given granted bargained sold conveyed and confirmed and by these presents do freely fully and absolutely give grant bargain sell and confirm unto him ye said Joseph BLAGUE his heirs and assigns forever one mesuage or tract of land scituated lying and being in the Town Commons aforesaid containing one third part of a hundred pound right.

To Have and to Hold ye said granted and bargained premises with all ye appurtenances priveledges and commodities to the same belonging or in any wise appertaining to him ye said Joseph BLAGUE his heirs and assigns forever to his and their own proper use benefit and behoof;

And I the said Jordon POST for me my heirs Executors administrators Do Covenant promise and grant to ye said Joseph BLAGUE his heirs and assigns that at and before ye ensealing hereof I am the true sole and lawful owner of ye above bargained Premises and am lawfully seized and possesed of ye same in my own proper right and absolute estate of inheritance in fee simple and have in myself full power and lawfull authority to bargain sell convey and confirm sd bargained premises in manner as abovesaid, and that the said Joseph BLAGUE his heirs and assigns shall and may from time to tome and at all times hereafter by force and virtue of these presents Lawfully peaceably and quietly have hold occupie posses and enjoy the said demised and bargained premises with the appurtenances free and clear and freely acquitted exonerated and discharged of from all and all manner of Former or other gifts grants bargains sales leases mortgages wills entails Jointers Dowries Judgments executions Incumbrances and extents.

Furthermore I the said Jordan POST for myself my heirs executors administrators do Covenant and ingage the above demised premises to him ye said Jos. BLAGUE his heirs and assigns against ye lawfull claims or demands of any person or persons whatsoever forever to Warrant Secure and defend.

In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 3d day of August Anno Domini 1722.
