Deed from Nathan WILLCOX & Sarah PARMELE, Administrators of the Estate of Aaron PARMELE to William CARTER
To all People to whom these presents shall come Greeting Know ye that we Nathan WILLCOX & Sarah PARMELE of Killingworth in the County of Middlesex & state of Connecticut Administrators on the Estate of Aaron PARMELE late of s'd Killingworth Dec'd Being Authorized and directed by the Hon'd Court of Probate for the District of Say Brook to make sale of all the Estate of the s'd Aaron PARMELE Dec'd as pr order of s'd court Dated the 18 day of Nove'r 1800 Do for & in consideration of the sum of 300x 6 Dollars & 3 cents Rec'd to our full satisfaction of W'm CARTER of the same Town & county give grant bargain sell & confirm unto him the s'd W'm CARTER his heirs & assigns forever one certain tract or parcel of land lying on s'd Killingworth at a place known by the name of Franklin Pond which Pond the Dec'd purchased by a Deed from Theoph's MORGAN in the life time of the Dec'd & lies bounded Northerly partly on land of s'd CARTER partly on the land of David BUEL Jun'r & partly on the land of Jedidiah BUEL & every other way on Highway Containing 3 acres & 60 Rods of land be the same more or less
To have & to hold the above granted & bargained premises with the appurtenances thereof unto him the s'd William CARTER his heirs & assigns forever to his & their own proper use & Behoof & also we the s'd Nathan WILLCOX & Sarah PARMELE do for ourselves and our heirs & assigns in our s'd capacity as administrators covenant with the s'd William CARTER his heirs & assigns that as & until the ensealing of these presents we are well seized of the premises as a good indefeasible Estate in fee Simple in our aforesaid capacity as Ad'res & have good Right to bargain & sell the same as above written & that the same is free of all incumbrance whatsoever and furthermore we the s'd Nathan WILLCOX & Sarah PARMELE do by these presents bind ourselves in the aforesaid capacity to warrant & defend the above granted & bargained premises to him the s'd W'm CARTER his heirs & assigns forever against all claims & demands
