Deed from John MINER to Abraham WATEROUS

To all Christian People to whom these presents shall come, Greeting: Know ye that I John MINER of New London and Colony of Connecticut in New England, for the consideration of One Hundred and fifty pounds in Currant money to me in hand paid by Abraham WATEROUS of Say Brook in the Colony aforesaid have granted and conveyed and by these presents do give grant bargain sell and confirm unto the said Abraham WATEROUS his heirs and assigns forever all that my fifty four acres of upland and meadow lying and being in the west Parish in the Township of Say brook aforesaid which I bought of Stephen Potter of New London and is butted and bounded as followeth viz: north on the highway Or Country Road east on land of Mr. Jared ELLIOTT, south party on a creek and partly on a ditch, west from the west end of said ditch on manuncateset river untill the river runs close to the upland then it bounds west upon a ditch twenty two rods where is erected a heap of stones and from said heap of stones to a walnut tree standing by the highway the land is bounded west on the lands of Joseph and Abraham WATEROUS.

To Have and to Hold the above granted and bargained premises with the appurtenances unto him the said Abraham WATEROUS his heirs and assigns forever to his and their own proper use and behoof.

And also I the said John MINER do for myself my heirs executors and administrators covenant with the said Abraham WATEROUS his heirs and assigns that at an untill the ensealing of these Presents I am Lawfully seized of the Premises as a good Indefeasible estate in fee simple and have Good right to bargain and sell the same in manner and forme as is above written and that the same is free of all Incumbrances whatsoever,

And furthermore I the said John MINER Do by these presents Bind myself my heirs forever to Warrant and Defend the above granted and bargained premises to him the said Abraham WATEROUS his Heirs and assigns against all Claims and Demands whatsoever.

In Witness Whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the 21st day of July in the tenth Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Second of Great Brittain &c. King.
