To all People to whom these Presents shall come:--Greeting.

KNOW YE, That I Noah LESTER of Killingworth in the County and Middlesex and State of Connecticut for the consideration of one hundred & ninety one dollars received to my full satisfaction of William CARTER & George CARTER of the Town County and State aforesaid

Do give, grant, bargain, sell and confirm unto the said William CARTER & George CARTER their heirs and assigns forever one certain tract or parcel of land in the town of Killingworth first society situated on the south side of the stage road running through said ? beginning as follows, beginning at the south west corner by Austin SHOLLS land, thence running westerly by Stage road there rods & forty six links, thence westerly by the east end of the house owned by Oliver HILLIARD and ? by John TAYLOR three rods eight links thence westerly ? rods ? links to the s? road ?? thence southerly by said road eight rods and nineteen links to a stake thence east by Oliver HILLIARD's land four rods eighteen links to a stake thence northerly by Austin NOTT's land ? rods to the first mentioned corner. Bounded northerly by stage road and Oliver HILLIARS's land, southerly by Oliver HILLIARD's house and the ?? road with by Oliver HILLIARD's land and ? by Austin NOTT's land together with the buildings thereon standing, and containing fifty seven rods of land it being all the land and building which was appraised and set off to be on the day of an execution in my favor against Oliver HILLIARD..

TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the above granted and bargained premises, with the appurtenances thereof, unto them the said William CARTER & George CARTER their heirs and assigns forever, to them and their own proper use and behoof. And also, I the said Noah LESTER do for myself and my heirs, executors and administrators, covenant with the said William CARTER & George CARTER their heirs and assigns; that at and until the ensealing these presents I am well seized of the premises as a good indefeasible estate in fee-simple, and have good right to bargain and sell the same in manner and form as is above written, and that the same is free of all incumbrances whatsoever.

AND FURTHERMORE, I the said Noah LESTER do by these presents bind myself and my heirs forever, to warrant and defend the above granted and bargained premises, to them the said William CARTER & George CARTER their heirs and assigns, against all claims and demands whatsoever.

IN WITNESS whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty first day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and nineteen
