Deed from Gideon LEET to Benjamin EVEREST

Know all Men by these presents that I Gideon LEET of Milford in the County of New Haven and Colony of Connecticut in New England, for the Consideration of the sum of Twenty pounds in old Currency to me in hand paid by Benjamin EVEREST of Saybrook in the County of New London & Colony of Connecticut do by these presents Remise Release & forever Quit-Claim for myself my heirs &c. for ever unto the said Benjamin EVEREST all the lands lying on the South side of the line between my land and the land of the said EVEREST which land lyeth in Saybrook in Chester Parish on the East side of the Country road which line and the several monuments therein affixed were made by Jed CHAPMAN and Gideon WATERHOUSE of said Saybrook and is as followeth viz: beginning at the Country Road at a stake & stones about two feet south of a pent highway running from ye Country road about East down to the Cove & from said stake and stones a straight line Eastwardly to another stake & stones, and from thence straight to a small Ash stadle with stones about it and marked with B. E. and J. C. and G. W. & from thence to a heap of stones by a brook at the corner of the said LEET's fence and furthermore I the said Gideon LEET do hereby acknowledge myself acquitted exonerated & my heirs forever from any claim or interest in and to the said premises unto him the said Benjamin EVEREST and his heirs forever.

In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 11th day of June A.D. 1746.
