… to whom these present Shall Come… Killingworth in the County of Newlondon & Colony of Connectict in Newengland send Greeting Know ye that I the s'd Robert LANE for the Love & good will which I have & doe bare unto my Loveing Sons in Law Ebenezer HURD, Theophilus CRANE & George NETTELTON all of Killingworth in the County & Coloney afores'd Have fully, freely, absolutely & Everlastingly, given, granted, Bequeathed & passed over to the above s'd Ebenezer HURD, Theophilus CRANE & George NETTELTON a certain parcel of salt marsh scituate lying & being on ye southerly side of the long point Eastward in the planting field in the township of Killingworth above s'd Containing seven acres more or less in length from the Land of William WELLMAN to the Long Poynt in breadth from the upland to the river with Larg allowance for salt holes Bounded westerly by the Land of W'm Wellman Easterly by the land formerly Edward GRISWOLD's. To Have and To Hold the above granted marsh Land to them my s'd sons Ebenezer HURD, Theophilus CRANE & George NETTELTON their heirs or assigns for ever & Equally to be divided amongst them my s'd sons with the appurtenances, previliges & Comodities to the same belonging or any waies appertaining & to them the s'd Ebenezer HURD Theophilus CRANE & George NETTELTON their heirs Executors Administrators or assigns forever together with all aster previliges or right in commons arising there from, without any let hindrance molestation or disturbance from me the above s'd Robert LANE my heirs or any other person or persons from, by or under ?? Either of us or we in our names, or any person or persons whom soever laying any Lawfull Claime thereto, or to any part thereof, In witness where of I the s'd Robert LANE have set to my hand and seale this sixteenth Day of march Anno d: one thousand seven hundred and fourteen in the first year of the Reign of our Soveran Lord George King of England &c
