We whose names are under written being there unto appointed have this 7 day of Aprell in the year 1724 Laid out the Land here after mentioned to Jonathan LANE being the 17th Lott of ye 8th: Division in the old Bounds of Killingworth Township and lying on the Blackoak Hill of the southend of ? that pouch plain and a little above Mr. BALDWIN's farm in Killingworth Bounds beginning at the south Eastern Corner of a Red oak tree marked stones Cast about it, measuring thence southwesterly 070 Rods at a Chestnut tree marked stones Cast about it thence northerly ninty two Rods at a white oak staddle marked stones Cast about it which is a bounds of John STEEVENSES Land thence north easterly 070 Rods at a white oak tree marked stones Cast about it thence southerly 120 Rods at a black oak tree marked stones Cast about it still southerly a little more to the west 78 Rods to the first mentioned Corner Containing: 33 acres and sixteen rods as it is Bounded westerly by the Land of P STEEVENS Every way Else by Comon
