we the subscribers being ther unto apointed have this Eighth day may in ye year 1724, Laid out to Benjamin GRISWOLD a certain tract or Parcell of Land in the Township of Killingworth it being ye Eighth Division and lying at a place known by the Lyon meadow hill a little above Joseph WILLCOCKS his Land, it being the fifteenth Lott in s'd divitian begining at the southwest Corner of a stake with stoans about it, thence Eastward ninty five Rods and a half to an ash tree marked stoanes about it, thence northerd Eighty rods to a Red oak tree marked with stoans a bout it thence westward ninty five Rods and a half to a white oak tree marked with stoans a bout it thence southerd Eighty Rods to the first Corner Containing forty seven acres and a half and seventeen Rods to the first mentioned Corner Containing forty seven acres and a half and seventeen Rods as it lyeth Bounded Every ways by Comon Land
