we whose names are under written being there unto appointed have this third Day of Aprell 1727 Laid out in one piece the Land here after mentioned Jonathan FRANKLENS Eight Divition four acres & twenty Rods his ninth out to Sam'll CARTER lying near where his house now stands begining at the south Easterly Corner at a white oak tree marked stoans Cast about it thence westerly forty six Rods to a Crotched black oak tree with a stoan in the Crotch thence northwesterly forty six Rods to a walnut Bush marked thence Easterly forty Rods to a Black oak tree marked. thence north five Rods & ¼ to a Black oak tree marked thence Easterly forty six rods to a heap of stoans thence southerly sixteen rods & 1/3 of a Rod to the first mentioned Corner Containing in the whole Eight acres and thirty four Rods as it is Bounded East by the highway south part by the Land laid out to Abel STEEVENS and part by the Common west by his own Land and Common north part by his own Land & part by Land Laid out to Walter GRISWOLD
