We whose names are under written being thereunto appointed have this sixth Day of April 1748 with the assistance of M'r Aaron ELIOT County Surveyer Laid out to M'r Theophilus MORGAN the Land here after mentioned Lying and being on the northerly side of the mill plain and on the westerly side of Land s'd MORGAN purchased of Josiah KELCEY in y'e Township of Killingworth beginning at y'e northeast corner at a walnut tree marked stones cast about it which is y'e northwesterly corner of y'e Land purchased as afores'd measuring thence west 8 Degrees north? Rods & half to a heap of stones thence south 23 Degrees west Twenty two Rods to a walnut stuff stones cast about it thence south 33 Degrees Easterly seven Rods to a heap of stones thence north 20 Degrees west one hundred and Eight Rods to the first mentioned s'd corner containing Eight acres & twenty three Rod Bounded Easterly by s'd MORGAN's own Land northerly by the Land of John KELCEY in part & party by highway westerly by a highway Two acres and two Rods of s'd Land is Laid out for want of measure in s'd KELCEY's seventh Division purchased by s'd MORGAN as afores'd two acres and twenty one Rod for want of measure in s'd KELCEY's 13th Division which s'd KELCEY sold to s'd MORGAN as afores'd two acres of which way part of Experience BALLDWIN's 13th Division and two acres which David BUELL purchasd of s'd proprieters of the Common Land in Killingowrth afores'd
