Entered April ye 4th 1738

We whose names are under written being there unto appointed have this 3d Day of April AD 1738 Laid out to Josiah HURD y'e Land here after mentioned it being his Right in y'e 13th Division in the township of Killingworth Lying and being a little west and southwest from s'd HURD's house beginning at a heap of stones by a small Ledge of Rocks which is a southerly Bounds of s'd HURD's old Land in y'e line of Daniel REDFIELD's Land measureing thence southwesterly in s'd REDFIELD's Line and until it Comes to the southeast in s'd CHATFIELD's Line 16 Rods to a Black oak staddle marked stones cast about thence westerly 7 Rods to a Red oak tree marked stones cast about it which is a southeast Corner of David BUELL's Land Running thence northerly in s'd BUELL's Line forty Rods to a Great flat stone standing in the ground thence northwesterly twenty two Rods to a white oak tree marked stones cast about it thence westerly seven Rods to a Black oak staddle marked stones cast about it standing in the line of s'd HURD's old Land Containing six acres three quarters & thirty five Rods of Land as it lyes Bounded Easterly by his own Land southerly by the Land of s'd REDFIELD in part and part by Common westerly by the Land of Cornelus CHATFIELD in part and party by the Land of David BUELL.
