Deed from William KELCY and Samuel WRIGHT to James WRIGHT
Know all men by these presents that We William KELCY & Samuel WRIGHT of Say-Brook in ye County of New London and Collony of Connecticut in New England for and in consideration of the sum of two hundred pounds in old tenor Bills of credit to us in hand well and truly paid by James WRIGHT of Say-Brook aforesaid have remised released & Quit Claimed & by these presents do freely and absolutely Remise Release & Quit Claim unto him the said James WRIGHT his heirs and assigns twenty acres of land lying & being in Oyster River Quarter in the Township of Say-Brook aforesaid it being part of that land which said WRIGHT conveyed to us by his deed dated the thirtieth day of January 1740/1 & entered in Say-Brook Records Lib'r 6th, folio 107 and the said twenty acres is the North part of said land and is bounded North and West on said William KELCY's land East partly on a highway on Horse Hill & partly on Will'm KELCY's land South on the remaining part of sd land which said WRIGHT conveyed to us by his deed to us and is to extend from said KELCY's land so far as to Include the whole twenty acres.
To Have and to Hold the said Released premises with the appurtenances unto him the said James WRIGHT his heirs and assigns forever to his and their own proper use and behoof so that we the said Will'm KELSEY & Sam'll WRIGHT nor either of us nor any or either of our heirs executors or assigns shall not hence forth have claim challeng or Demand any Right Estate Possession or Interest in or unto ye above Released Twenty acres of land or to any part or appurtenance thereof but from all claims Possession Right or Demand therein or thereunto We and every of them shall be affectually secluded & forever debarred by these presents.
In Witness Whereof We have hereunto set our hands & seals this 31st Day of May in the 18th year of his Majesties Reign Anno Domini 1745.
